When moving from the Infant Carrier it was (and still is) common practice to have your child forward facing from 9kg / 9months onwards. It is recommend that a child stays rearward facing for a minimum of 15 months under the R129 regulation.

Unfortunately, many poor forward facing car seats are produced and pumped into the European market from countries like China. This is even backed up by bigger retailers stocking low grade, minimal tested restraints putting sales before safety.

It’s understandable when you see a retailer selling a forward facing seat with a 5-Point harness for £20-£40, that you question paying….. £150-£200 for one.
